Victory or Withdrawal: Always Just a Friedman Unit Away
So now the latest supposed word is that September could be a key month in some vaguely unspecified way that has to do with the Illegal Occupation of Iraq.
Now that fewer naive children, on average, believe in “victory” in Iraq than in Santa Claus, the carrot being dangled before us is now “withdrawal“, or “the beginning of withdrawal“, or “setting a timetable for withdrawal” or “talking seriously about withdrawal“.
Satisfaction — it’s always roughly just about one Friedman Unit away, in the realm of national policy.
Don’t believe it. Don’t buy it. Don’t ever again trust anyone who fails to question it, because they are right now indicating with their words and deeds that they would rather see more people die than tell a socially awkward truth. To hell with ‘em.
Every media talking head who isn’t screaming for immediate withdrawal from Iraq at the top of his or her lungs ought to be flipping burgers. They are not fit to do their jobs. They have no talent or special intelligence. All they’ve shown is the ability to be social climbers within an industry of state backed and regulated cartels. The Soviets were afflicted with parasites like these. Their word for them was apparatchiks.
